The foundation of our nation's government was created and perpetuated in Philadelphia. Students visit Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was adopted and where the Constitution of the United States was debated, drafted and signed; they also see the Liberty Bell whose tolling signified the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Philadelphia allows students to feel a part of the passion and conviction that led to the creation of their country.
