Pennsylvania Dutch / Gettysburg

This unique tour provides students with the incredible opportunity to explore some of the areas where it all started for America. By immersing themselves in the Amish culture, students learn about their deep-rooted history, their faith, their tireless work ethic and their valuable role in society. Lancaster transports students into a different time, and teaches them an appreciation for the simple things in life whole also exposing them to an entire culture of people different from their own. Students try authentic Amish food, browse Amish-run shops and gives them a chance to see how people live without “necessities” like Facebook and air conditioning.
