Where Heritage Inspires Discovery

Blending centuries of history with vibrant culture, San Antonio offers students an unforgettable journey through time. Known as The Alamo City, it’s a destination where Spanish colonial missions, riverfront beauty, and modern innovation coexist in harmony. From exploring the historic Alamo to cruising along the scenic River Walk, San Antonio invites students to learn through immersion, where every landmark tells a story of courage, creativity, and community.

Customize your trip to enhance the goals of your program:

Educational

San Antonio is a living classroom of American and Texan identity. Students can explore the Alamo and the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that brings colonial history to life. Hands-on learning continues at the Witte Museum, where exhibits connect science, nature, and culture, and at the San Antonio Museum of Art, where collections span thousands of years and cultures. It’s a destination where history, art, and science come alive.

TRiO Educational Programs

Support college readiness and cultural exploration through San Antonio’s unique educational landscape. Groups can tour campuses like The University of Texas at San Antonio or Trinity University, engage in workshops focused on academic success, and reflect on the city’s diverse heritage at the Institute of Texan Cultures. With inspiring stories of resilience and discovery, San Antonio encourages students to embrace their own paths toward higher education.

Performing Arts (Band, Choir, and Orchestra)

With its deep musical roots and proud cultural traditions, San Antonio provides unforgettable opportunities for student performers. Ensembles can take the stage at The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, perform in beautiful missions or historic plazas, or participate in collaborative workshops with local mariachi and orchestral programs. Between performances, groups can visit the Texas Music Legends Hall of Fame or enjoy the vibrant rhythm of the Fiesta San Antonio celebration (seasonal).

Theatre & Dance

Step behind the curtain of San Antonio’s dynamic performing arts scene. Students can join professional-led acting and choreography workshops at the Magik Theatre or the Carver Community Cultural Center, learning about storytelling through movement, music, and character. For inspiration, groups can tour the Majestic Theatre, one of the most ornate and historic venues in the Southwest, to experience where creativity meets craftsmanship.

We use Gerber for our senior trip every year and are always satisfied with the tour and tour guides. Mary Werther is a joy to work with. We also LOVE Byron B. in NYC!  We love that we can tailor the tour to our needs and find new and interesting things to see/do. We also love the price and the great deals you can get us. Thank you again for another great senior trip!
